While this notion is sometimes discussed in different terms including "Smart Growth", New Urbanism, Traditional Neighborhood Design, Livability, and Progressive Development, Anderson Pacific's core belief is that truly successful real estate projects, in both social and financial terms, are conceived and implemented without succumbing to fads. MASTER PLANNER Opticos Design, Inc. is an award-winning multi-disciplinary design firm located in Berkeley, CA that specializes in traditional urbanism and architecture, as well as environmental graphics. The firm is recognized nationally as a leader in the practice of New Urbanism and traditional architecture, and has won various awards for their diverse work. Opticos has worked collaboratively with some of the most prominent and influential practitioners in traditional urbanism and architecture today including Andrés Duany and Elizabeth Plater-Zyberk of DPZ, European urbanist, architect, and author Leon Krier, Ray Gindroz of UDA, and Stefanos Polyzoides of Moule & Polyzoides Architects. Prior to founding Opticos, Daniel Parolek worked with Robert A.M. Stern Architects in New York City, an award-winning firm that specializes in traditional and classical architecture and urban design.
